Deuce McAllister took a few minutes of his time to take pictures and sign autographs for the students.
On November 11, 2011 Patrick Henry High School students enjoyed meeting former New Orleans Saints running back, Deuce McAllister. Mr. McAllister visited both Patrick Henry High School and Glade Spring Middle School as a result of a winning video challenge through Fuel Up to Play 60 entered by freshman, Emma B. This video was a montage of different students from Patrick Henry High School and Glade Spring Middle School singing different parts of a theme song written by Emma. Mr. McAllister spoke about the importance of healthy eating and daily physical activity while also encouraging attendees to stay involved with the FUTP60 program.
