Members of the Patrick Henry High School drama department perform the "Blues".
On Thursday, November 3, Patrick Henry High School's Drama Department competed in the Hogoheegee District Theatre Festival held at Northwood High School. This year's performance was entitled "Blues" written by Jerome McDonough and produced by special arrangement with I. E. Clark Publications. "Blues" is a thought provoking look into the lives of those who are homeless, how they got there, and what their options are. A performance was also held for the faculty/staff and student body. At competition, cast members freshman Emma B., sophomore Jennifer C., junior Clara K., and senior Sarah S. all received honorable mention recognition for best actress. Cast, crew, and directors represented the Patrick Henry High School Drama Department in t-shirts designed and printed by Coburn Creative, Glade Spring, Virginia.
