Patrick Henry High School Key Club member, Sarah S. presents Mr. James Beaver a plaque for his service and dedication to the United States.
On Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, students, faculty, and staff at Patrick Henry High School hosted an assembly to honor our local heroes. Veterans and special guests were treated to performances by the Patrick Henry Choir and Rebel Regiment Wind Ensemble. Sgt. James Beaver was presented a plaque from the Patrick Henry High School Key Club for his service and dedication to the United States during the Korean War. Sgt. Beaver was held as a Prisoner of War for 27 months and continues to be an inspiration to those around him. The key note speaker was 1988 Patrick Henry graduate Captain Gary Price of the Tennessee Army National Guard. After the assembly, veterans and guests were treated to refreshments provided by the Patrick Henry High School Key Club.
