The 2012-2013 Calendar and Handbook Cover Art Contest is underway. The Office of Academic Operations is seeking out the next great artist in Washington County Schools. Over 11,000 copies are printed and distributed to every student and employee in our school system along with copies distributed throughout the community.
Please note the following rules/guidelines for entries:
- All Washington County students K-12 are eligible for entry.
- Theme must portray Washington County or a school activity.
- Cover may consist of any type of art work (drawing, painting, photo, etc.).
- Entries cannot exceed 8½ x 11 in size - any entry submitted that is larger will be disqualified.
- Writing is discouraged and any entry with a misspelled word will be disqualified.
- Entries should have an entry form taped to the back, which includes student’s name, school, and grade. (See your principal or teacher for an entry form.)
- All entries must be submitted no later than Friday, March 9, 2012, to the school board office attention “Foney Mullins - Office of Academic Operations.”
- Contest winner will be announced no later than April 20, 2012. The winning entry will be displayed on the cover of the 2012-13 School Calendar and Handbook.
