Future Business Leaders of America members volunteer at Benhams Head Start
The John S. Battle chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America have adopted the Benhams Head Start as their community service project for the 2011-12 school year. As part of their community service, the students volunteered their time helping employees prepare for the holidays by cutting out shapes that the children will use for craft activities. The club also delivered special presents from Santa to one of the families at the daycare. Students will travel to the Head Start in the spring to help make outdoor repairs. Advisors Mimia Herald, Tamara Lasley and Meghan Tolliver are very proud of these students for giving their time to serve others.
