In October of 2011, Meadowview Elementary School participated in a nationwide effort to break the National Geographic Kids/Guinness World Record for the most people within a 24-hour period performing jumping jacks for one full minute. More than 20,000 people were needed to jump, in order to smash the record. Over 600 students and teachers at Meadowview Elementary jumped their way into the record books. The record was broken with 300,265 people participating across America. Congratulations to all who participated in this fun and fit event!
