Three boys hold a poster as one boy reads it. Chancelor D. shares his journey to Ancient Greece with help from Isaac D., Nolan S., and Hunter D.

High Point Elementary School third graders recently traveled to Ancient Greece. On their voyage, students in Ms. Witt’s and Mr. Davidson’s social studies classes were directed to tour the area and learn as much as they could about the Grecian culture. The Acropolis was one of the vacation hotspots due to the Parthenon being located there. The travelers shopped for necessary supplies at the Agora (marketplace) and made stops at various other places throughout their travels. Upon returning home, the students enjoyed sharing what they had learned with their classmates. The students used The Traveler’s Guide to Ancient Greece by Fiona MacDonald and Mike Foster to guide them on their journey.
