Teachers Eric Carrigan and Aaron Napier launched a new club at Holston High School for the 2017-18 school year. The Wilderness Club was designed to help the students appreciate the natural beauty of our area and develop good stewardship habits.

Congratulations to students at Abingdon High School for earning top spots in this year's Young Playwrights Festival sponsored by Barter Theatre. Out of nearly 400 plays and over 600 playwrights, Abingdon had three winners, including a play which earned first place accolades as well as a staged reading by the Barter Players.
