A collage of four signings with students sitting at tables and adults standing behind them, with a table covering of the schools' mottos. This Spring we are excited to announce that Washington County Public Schools have students from all four high schools receiving scholarships to perform with the Emory & Henry College Marching Band for the fall of 2016.  The students were honored at individual scholarship signing ceremonies.

Students joining us from the various schools are as follows:  Abingdon High School - Courtney H. and Monroe S.; Holston High School - Chloe Y., Emily C. and Skylar H.;  John S. Battle High School -  Blake L.; and Patrick Henry High School -  Chloe C., Courtney B., and Evan R.  We are very excited for these student-performers to be joining a freshmen class of 43 students taking the marching field this fall at Emory & Henry.  This marks the first time all four Washington County high schools have students entering Emory & Henry College at the same time on music performance scholarships.
