C.T.E. Students Compete at State Competition and Tour Capital

On April 16th, twenty-nine students proudly represented the Washington County Career and Technical Education Center by participating in the Virginia SkillsUSA State competition in Fredericksburg, VA.  While all students did well in their individual competitions, twelve students from WCCTEC received medals for outstanding performances.

Brooke K. earned a bronze medal in Food Preparation. Dillon H., Brandon H., Devin A., and Dillon W. earned a bronze medal in the Teamworks competition. Nick O. earned a bronze medal in Technical Computer Applications. Cody C. earned a silver medal in Telecommunications Cabling. Josiah H. earned a silver medal in Cabinetmaking.  Alex A. won a bronze medal in  Bricklaying. Madison B., Bayleigh D., and Michael P.  took home a silver medal in Crime Scene Investigation.  All twenty-nine students spent April 14th touring our Nation's Capital, the National Mall, the Hollocaust Museum, National Air & Space Museum, and many other historic landmarks while learning about the history of their country.
