High Point Fifth Graders are Inspired!
Post date:
Fri, February 10, 2017
Students in Ms. Campbell’s 5th grade class at High Point Elementary School just completed a novel study on How to Steal a Dog by Barbara O’Connor. The novel is a heartwarming and inspiring book about life and how two siblings bond over a dog named Willy.
Students worked together to read the novel and place themselves in the characters shoes to understand one of the main lessons of the book, “There is always someone worse off than yourself.”
