Meadowview second graders present STEM activity to School Board

Meadowview Elementary students and school board members work to complete a cooperative STEM activity.Meadowview second graders, Grant B., Colton T., Markie P., and Dylan B., presented a stem activity to the Washington County School Board on September 2, 2014.

The challenge was to build the tallest free-standing paper tower using one sheet of paper and 12 inches of tape. Scissors were the only tool allowed. The children and the members of the school board worked in pairs to complete the project. Thank you to the School Board for allowing the students to share this activity, and for participating with the students.
