Washington County Elementary Summer School Students Have Been "Rocking" and "Rolling"!

A group of students sitting at a table painting rocks and smiling. The Washington County Elementary Summer School program is off to a great start! With the help of an exceptional staff, students have been in the business of learning and having fun.

This week alone students have learned Spanish, created art, flew drones, learned about the water cycle, and visited Barter Theatre. Students also joined the rock scavenger hunt that has recently taken off in Damascus. Mrs. Trudy Cobler led students in painting rocks to hide on the Creeper Trail. After "rocking" on Monday, students "rolled" to the trail on Tuesday. They hiked, enjoyed nature, and hid their rocks for some lucky person to find.
