Watauga Elementary School Creates a Snowman

Students and faculty stand together in the shape of a snow man.Watauga celebrated the changing of the seasons and welcoming of the new holiday by joining together for a school picture!

This school picture was unlike any other, including all 577 students and 78 faculty and staff in the photo. With the help of the WES encore department, everyone was able to join together to create a snowman image. Students wore white, representing the snow, faculty and staff wore black, representing the arms, buttons, and eyes, and the office staff wore orange to create the carrot for the nose! A special thank you goes out to Brian Canada, for helping capture this image with a drone! The students and faculty had a wonderful time creating the photo for this year’s Christmas card. We can’t wait to share our photo with Watauga families and News Center 5. Merry Christmas from Watauga!
