The WCYB StormTracker Makes a Stop at Wallace Middle School

A group of students are standing in front of a blue car.Sixth grade students at Wallace Middle School recently had the opportunity to meet WCYB Chief Meteorologist Dave Dierks and see the new StormTracker vehicle up close.

After talking to the students about being inside the studio and showing them how the green screen works, Mr. Dierks kept the students engaged and truly entertained with some really cool weather experiments showing air pressure and explaining how warm air rises.  He even made snow and fog!  Finally, the students were able to see the StormTracker and learn about all of its amazing on-board weather tools.  Thank you, Dave Dierks, for giving students on the sixth grade Wrangler team an experience they will never forget!
