WMS Sixth Graders Present Their 3-D Solar Systems

Many students are pictured with their solar system projects.Students in Mrs. Carrigan’s science class worked hard on their science projects during the last week of school and presented them to their classmates to show off what they had learned.  The science students had to create a 3-D solar system project following a rubric with multiple requirements.

Each planet was painted, labeled, and displayed in their proper positions along with the sun and the asteroid belt.  The students had to research each body to find three interesting facts about each one and then choose the ones they wanted to present to the class.  Their creativity was amazing, and they did a fantastic job!
