Skyline Literacy Coalition is a Literacy Volunteers of America affiliate organization that helps adults who want to improve their reading, writing, or English-speaking skills. As Program & Publicity Coordinator, Katrina is primarily responsible for the recruiting and training of volunteer tutors, and for directing promotional and public relations activities.

In addition, she teaches pre- and non-literate ESL classes at Dayton Learning Center, an adult-education center that serves students in Rockingham County. She is a certified English as a Second Language tutor-trainer for Literacy Volunteers of America.

Katrina recently joined Skyline Literacy following a two-year stint as Director of Development for a touring Shakespeare Company. Prior to that she taught English and computer literacy to migrant workers in southern Florida. She received her BA in English in 1995 from Eastern Mennonite University.

In her spare time, Katrina enjoys reading, studying languages, and hiking.
