Online Databases
Washington County Public Schools has purchased subscriptions to
the following databases. These online databases are accessible from all
school computers. Please contact the library staff for user name and
password for remote access.

These databases offer more than 1,500 full-text sources and a fun and
easy-to-use search interface. Includes magazines, newspapers, books,
television/radio transcripts, maps, pictures, and audio/video clips.

text articles. It includes SIRS Researcher (General Reference) SIRS
Government Reporter (Information By & About the U.S. Government) and

Grolier Online provides 5 online encyclopedias:
Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, and The New
Book of Knowledge, The New Book of Popular Science, and Lands and
Peoples.
