Please find attached a Notice of Public Hearing on the Proposed Revised 2023 History and Social Science Standards of Learning.  Several dates are available throughout the Commonwealth, including March 20, 2023, at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon.

There will be no bus service in the Green Cove, Konnarock, and Taylor's Valley areas: buses 37 and 58 today, Monday, January 23, 2023.

There will not be school bus service in the Konnarock and Taylor's Valley areas today.

There has been no known threats or indication of a threat to schools, however, due to the unknown location of escaped prisoners from the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail, Washington County Schools will follow enhanced security measures today, Friday, January 27, 2023.
