John S. Battle

The Athletic Training Room (ATR) is located at the very end of the wrestling hallway with no assigned room number. The ATR is accessible for all VHSL student-athletes and contains various therapeutic modalities.  Besides the basic hydrotherapy equipment, the ATR contains modalities such as ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, TENS, and hydrocollator units.  It also contains some therapeutic rehabilitation equipment for proprioceptive and strengthening rehabilitation.

Holston

The ATR is located in the back of the gymnasium laundry room. The ATR is accessible for all VHSL student-athletes and contains limited therapeutic modalities.  The ATR is equipped with modalities such as mobile ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, TENS, and a stationary hydrocollator unit.  It also contains some rehabilitation equipment for therapeutic rehab.

Abingdon

The ATR is located at the end of the PE hallway in room 141. The ATR is accessible for all VHSL student-athletes and contains various therapeutic modalities.  Besides the basic hydrotherapy equipment, the ATR contains modalities such as ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, TENS, and hydrocollator units.  It also contains some therapeutic rehabilitation equipment such as a rebounder, stationary bike, and more.

Patrick Henry

The ATR is located off of the west end of the gymnasium and is accessible for all VHSL student-athletes containing various therapeutic modalities.  Besides the basic hydrotherapy equipment, the ATR contains modalities such as mobile ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, TENS, and a stationary hydrocollator unit.  It also contains some therapeutic rehabilitation equipment.

All therapeutic modalities and their respective electrical outlets are safety tested and modalities are calibrated by Stan Kowalski, Inc (SKI) on a yearly basis prior to use each school year.
