Virginia Tech’s Department of Computer Science, the Institute for Creativity, Arts and Technology, Advanced Research Computing, and the Center for Space Engineering and Research Institute (Space@VT) graciously hosted twenty-one WCCTEC CISCO students on 19 September. Mr. Randy Woodward’s CISCO class was exposed to a horizon of possibilities from each of the departmental presentations.

The Washington County SPECIAL EDUCATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE meets four times a year. Meetings are open to the public. The advisory committee solicits viewpoints and suggestions from parents of students with disabilities and other interested persons for consideration. A meeting will be held on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.

The Holston FBLA club hosted their annual Marsh Blood drive on Wednesday, September 13th. Holston High's faculty, staff, and students were eligible to donate blood. Several senior students were asked for quotes about their blood donating experience.

FCA and SCA joined together to hold a Battle for Houston water drive. They set the goal to collect 1,000 cases of water in 4 days.

Preschoolers at AES had a great start to the school with our "Splash into a New School Year" water day! We were excited to start our school year with new friends. We wanted to encourage positive experiences in the school setting and hosted a "Splash into a New School Year" water day.
