VIES Second Graders at Valley Build Marshmallow Towers 08-31-2015

Four proud second graders stand near a desk where their spaghetti noodle and marshmallow tower is displayed.The second graders at Valley Institute Elementary kicked off the new school year with a team-building activity.  This activity was just one of the many different Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) activities the second graders will be participating in throughout the year.

The Greendale Choir Begins Another School Year 08-28-2015

The Greendale Choir had its first rehearsal on Tuesday, August 25th.  Fifty-six 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students crowded onto the stage in the Forum at Greendale to begin rehearsal after school.  Roll was called, procedures gone over, and in no time, singing had begun.  What a talented group of young singers!  Mr. Fore is excited to begin the new year with the Greendale Choir!

Holston Students Excel at FFA National Convention 08-26-2015

Holston Welcomes Three New Faculty Members 08-21-2015

Holston High School is proud to welcome three new faculty members to its team.  They are:  Science teacher Joe Smith, Special Education teacher Cyndie Parkin, and Day Treatment counselor Cody Ewing.  All three bring pertinent experience that will help them serve the students well.

GES Fourth Graders Save Fred! 08-20-2015

Rhea Valley Elementary School Is Off To A Great Start 08-19-2015
