|CTE Center to Offer ASVAB Test||01-15-2019||
For the 17th consecutive year, the Washington County Career and Technical Center will sponsor a test session for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB). The test will be given on Friday, February 1st from 12:30 to 3:15 PM. The ASVAB is offered to all county sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have a potential interest in serving in the United States military. All branches of the military and their reserve components mandate that individuals take the ASVAB before they enlist.

In Mrs. Morris’ sixth grade language arts class at Wallace Middle School, students read the book, “Towers Falling” by Jewell Parker Rhodes. Students worked together to complete a novel study on the book. Deja, the main character in the novel, faced many real-world problems such as homelessness and hunger.
