Abingdon Elementary Second Grade Visits Williams Orchard
Post date:
Thu, December 1, 2016
AES 2nd graders enjoyed a fun trip to Williams Orchards in Rural Retreat. The students learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin, an apple, and a gourd.
Students were able to compare each of the life cycles and find similarities and identify the differences that make them unique. Even though there were many fun activities, the best part was the hayride and bringing home the fall treats! What a wonderful way to spend the day: learning and enjoying the beautiful fall weather outdoors!
