AHS Student Wins Queen of Hearts Crown

Young lady, dressed in formal gown and holding roses, receives a crown on stage from another young lady wearing a formal gown and wearing crown.Abingdon High School junior, Caroline C., was recently crowned the Queen of Hearts in the Tri-Cities on March 19, 2016, at a gala at the Higher Education Center in Abingdon where she won the Buddy Crump Memorial Award for her relentless work toward collecting an amazing $24,800 for the American Heart Association!

This is a wonderful feat, and our school is extremely proud of Caroline in undertaking this great task for such a worthwhile cause.  Caroline was crowned by McKinley R. who was last year's winner. Caroline is an AHS Cheerleader, a member of the tennis team, and a member of DECA and Civinettes Club. Congratulations, Caroline!
