Taylor felt very at home on the Emory & Henry campus. She also connected with the coaching staff and was very impressed with Coach Crutchfield’s first year success. She leaves Abingdon High School as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,449 points, 798 rebounds, and a remarkable 52% field goal percentage for her career. She was named First Team All-District/All-Conference for 3 years and was Conference 32 player-of-the-year the last 2 years. She was also named First Team All-Region for 3 years and was named 3A West Regional player-of-the-year in 2015. During her sophomore year, she was tabbed as an All-State honorable mention player and finished her junior and senior seasons as a First Team All-State selection for both VHSL and The Virginia Coaches Association. Congratulations and best wishes to Taylor on her new ventures!
