A boy in a black shirt sitting and making a Lego robot. On April 14, 2016 students from Glade Spring Middle School traveled to the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center to participate in a session of LEGO Robotics.  Students were able to use onsite laptops to program their robots to move forward, backwards, and turn in circles.

Arms were attached and programmed to perform simple tasks.  The GSMS students would like to thank Ms. Nicky Rahley of the Southwest Virginia Higher Ed Center, Ms. Lisa Okes of the Washington County Public Schools IT Department, and Duncan Okes ofAbingdon High School for this great learning opportunity.
