Holston FBLA Students Participate in Leadership Conference
Wed, October 12, 2016
On Friday, October 7th, ten students from the Holston High School Future Business Leaders of America Club attended the Fall Leadership Conference at Bluefield College. The conference featured several different seminars for the students to participate in. Some of the topics for these workshops included assistance with college admissions, business etiquette, and community service project ideas, as well as many others including a student favorite, FBLA bingo.
Junior Linsey C. stated that, “The 2016 FBLA Fall Leadership Conference was a great opportunity to join with students across the region who share an interest in business. With this being my second year of attendance to the conference, I gained even more knowledge about the business world. This field trip was a wonderful experience to tour Bluefield College and sharpen leadership skills that can lead to future success in business.” Fellow Juniors Eve W. and Matthew F. said that they enjoyed the opening ceremony by seeing all the other chapters as well as playing bingo to see how much they knew about the history of the FBLA.
