Kindergarten Alphabet Exchange at Greendale Elementary

Six kindergarten children stand in front of written letters hanging from an A, B, C and D on the wall in the hallway.Kindergarteners from Greendale Elementary School have spent the first 9 weeks exchanging letters from the alphabet with students all across the United States and Canada. Each teacher is assigned a letter from the alphabet and their classroom students are given the assignment to decorate them.

The letters we decorated and sent off were Y and X. We received letters from Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Kansas, Texas, Arizona, California, Washington State, Louisiana, Ontario Canada, and more. Students have enjoyed opening each letter and finding the location on our classroom map and Google Maps. We are learning so much from our Kindergarten Alphabet Exchange.
