Wallace Middle School | Awareness to Bullying Prevention

A classroom door is decorated as a large flower.During the month of October, Wallace Middle School focused on bringing awareness to bullying prevention.  On October 23, WMS hosted its annual Mix It Up at Lunch Day.

Students school wide were given the opportunity to make new friends by not sitting with typical day to day friends.  Students were given conversation starters at each table to assist in getting to know each other.  Teachers and faculty were involved as well, sitting and mingling with students.  On October 31, WMS hosted its Second Annual Anti-Bullying/Anti-Drug Door Decorating Contest.  All students and teachers were encouraged to decorate their doors with an anti-bullying/anti-drug theme.  The winners of this year’s door decorating contest were: Mrs. Morris’s homeroom, Ms. Miller’s homeroom, and Mrs. France’s homeroom. Students were awarded cupcakes for their creativity and participation.
