Washington County Career & Technical Education Center | Criminal Justice Class Conduct Blood Spatter Measurements

A group of three students conduct an experiment with blood spatters.Students in Mr. Cross’ Criminal Justice class at the Washington County Career and Technical Education center recently measured blood stains and drops to analyze angle of impact and also determine points of origin.

These techniques are used to assist investigators determine victim and suspect positions in a crime scene and also make inferences about the type of weapon that may have been used based on velocity.
