WMS Introduces the Archery Club
Post date:
Wed, May 25, 2016
Washington County teachers and administrators attended a training course for National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) last summer. The training also provided bows, arrows, targets, and a safety net for each school represented.
Wallace Middle School students were very eager to sign up for the first ever Archery Club, and even more excited to hit the range with the bows! The club of 15 met every month on club day and learned the parts of a bow, equipment care, shooting form, and most importantly, safety. The club was limited to only sixth and seventh grade students who did a fantastic job all year long!
