Missing Matters is an attendance incentive for Damascus Middle School students sponsored by Communities in Schools. It is a competition between homerooms for best attendance each month, with a banner in the main hallway reflecting how each homeroom ranks in the competition. In addition to the homeroom component, weekly drawings are held for individual prizes for students with perfect attendance that week. Congratulations to our most recent winners, Jacob H., Addison V., and Ella P. ; they each received cotton candy and a Food City gift card from Mr. Dale!

Mrs. Blackburn’s English 7 classes recently completed research about Greek Mythology. Their culminating projects, including Hermes' winged shoes and hat, the Sirens' beautiful island, and Hades' shield, helmet and sword, are just a few of the wonderful projects on display!
