The basketball games scheduled for today will be played at E.B. Stanley instead of Lebanon. #GoFalcons!

📢 Washington County Public Schools will remain on a two-hour delay for today, Tuesday, November 11.
However, due to road conditions, bus service will NOT be provided in the Konnarock, Taylor’s Valley, and Green Cove areas.
In addition, the following buses in the Glade Spring attendance zone will operate on CLEAR ROUTES ONLY:

Parents of student drivers are encouraged to use their best judgment based on conditions in your specific location.
As always, the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.

SCHEDULE CHANGE: Due to winter weather conditions, WCPS will operate on a 2-Hour Delayed Schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Childcare will be provided at elementary schools for working families who need it. Please be on the lookout for additional information from your child’s elementary school.

The E.B. Stanley robotics team participated in a county wide Robot Drone League meeting on Wednesday. Students collaborated with other middle school teams on strategies for the competition. They also practiced their drone flying and robot driving skills. #STEM #RDL

E.B. Stanley Middle School recently hosted an International Tailgate Party for ESL students and their families -- a celebration of culture, connection, and community!
This special event was a collaboration between Communities in Schools, EBSMS ESL teacher Mrs. Ritterbusch, and Abingdon High School, bringing together families to share food, fun, and fellowship from around the world.
We love seeing our schools create welcoming spaces where every student and family feels at home!

The cross country teams had great races at the Randy Smith Classic. The girls’ team finished in 1st place with Eleanor Webb winning. The boys’s team finished in 2nd place. EB Stanley had 5 girls and 4 boys earn medals. Congratulations to both teams! #RunForestRun!

The E.B. Stanley FFA hosted a plant science contest on October 2. Team members included Charlie C., Jack A., Braxton M., and Frank D. E.B. placed 3rd overall. Go Falcons!
