PH wrestling had a good day at the Rural Retreat Invitational Tournament. Three made it to the blood round- Bishop Ratliff, Matthew Giarla, Michia Blazier- big shout out to Michia Blazier for getting his first win this season! He didn't stop there, he was 3-2 for the day!
Jaxton Harner finished strong in a tough bracket with a 4th place finish!

Anatomy students at Patrick Henry High School completed end of semester projects to show their knowledge of the human digestive system. Kinsley C and Ava K show their theme park creation of GastroWorld which takes visitors through thrilling rides. Some of these rides include the ‘Food Tube Water Plume’ which simulates the esophagus and the ‘Nutrient Nemesis’ roller coaster which demonstrates how the small intestine transports nutrients for further use.

Members of the PH Scholastic Bowl Team participated in the Tornado Invitational Tournament at Richland High School on Saturday, January 3. They came away victorious. Carter W. won as top individual and the PH Scholastic Bowl Team were the tournament champions!! Way to go Rebels!!

The PH Girls wrestling team competed at the Lord Botetourt first annual Feats of Strength wrestling tournament on 12/23.

Most roads are clear and dry and we had hoped that more secondary roads would improve throughout the day. However, there are several areas in every part of the county that still have roads that are ice covered.
WCPS Offices will open at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
Childcare will be available beginning at 10:00a.m. Please watch for additional information from your child’s elementary school. Be safe and stay warm!
