Hello Washington County Families, Students, Staff, and Stakeholders,

2023-24 was a remarkable year and I couldn’t be more excited about the school year that lies ahead! By working together toward common goals, Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) will become the best school division it can possibly be. I thank you for your collaboration, hard work, and cooperation in the past and look forward to expanding those partnerships in the future.

As our Leadership Team has met to evaluate our progress and to set new goals for the future, I have challenged them to be bold, creative, passionate, caring, and innovative as we work to prepare our students for the challenges that the future holds for them. Our students, staff, and communities are already awesome and have unlimited potential to achieve even greater heights. I encourage you to join our staff in making WCPS the very best school division in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

As I often say, we can achieve great things by leading/teaching/learning with integrity, communicating effectively, encouraging innovation, and focusing on individual student growth while providing a safe environment for students to learn and thrive. The sky is truly the limit for our schools and our children!
