Mr. Andrew Smith standing in front of the trailer to be used for the Mobile STEM Lab

Washington County Public Schools is excited to announce that this fall we will be rolling out a new Mobile STEM Learning Lab!  This lab will travel from school to school and to community events promoting and providing learning opportunities in robotics, drones, virtual reality, and a variety of other innovative technology.  The mobile lab, TECHTREK, is the brainchild of Mr. Andrew Smith and Mr. Thomas Larimer, WCPS Instructional Technology Resource Teachers and will be used to support student learning in ALL division schools.  Work has already begun to convert this 30 foot trailer into a learning lab.  It is anticipated to hit the road soon after school starts in the Fall! Stay tuned for updates as TECHTREK comes to life!

Special thanks goes out to Division Superintendent, Dr. Brian Ratliff, and Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Jeff Noe for their support in this endeavor and for their ongoing vision of bringing innovative learning opportunities to the students of Washington County Public Schools.
