🌟 Convocation 2025: Be a Bean! ☕️
What a way to kick off the new school year at Washington County Public Schools! Convocation was full of mashed potato races, egg roulette, and plenty of coffee – but most importantly, it left us with a powerful message inspired by the book The Coffee Bean: A Simple Lesson to Create Positive Change by Jon Gordon and Damon West.
Just like potatoes soften in boiling water and eggs harden, coffee beans transform their environment! As we dive into this new school year, let’s remember to be like coffee beans—flexible, positive, and ready to create change no matter what comes our way.
During Convocation, we also celebrated our very own WCPS "Beans"— current employees and proud alums who are living examples of this message. Stay tuned as we highlight and recognize these amazing individuals on our social media pages in the coming days!
